Este evento se organiz\u00f3 para expresar el agradecimiento a las partes interesadas que contribuyeron a la creaci\u00f3n de la infraestructura de investigaci\u00f3n en IA de la Escuela de Posgrado de IA Kim Jaechul del KAIST. Adem\u00e1s, ten\u00eda como objetivo apoyar de forma conjunta el futuro crecimiento del proyecto AI Star Fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"SE-fec504fe-f3bf-4425-9bb0-a410329a567d\" style=\"margin-bottom:0px\">La donaci\u00f3n preventiva de DRGEM se materializa en una infraestructura de investigaci\u00f3n en IA de ultraalta velocidad de primer nivel a escala mundial<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"SE-65968c92-cb67-4c73-b1eb-c99fd48757a8\">En septiembre de 2024, DRGEM don\u00f3 300 millones de wones surcoreanos en concepto de fondos de desarrollo para fomentar un entorno de investigaci\u00f3n de alto rendimiento en la Escuela de Posgrado de IA Kim Jaechul del KAIST. El servidor GPU de alto rendimiento presentado en esta ocasi\u00f3n ha visto finalmente la luz gracias al apoyo proactivo de DRGEM. Se integra como parte del \u201cProyecto de apoyo a j\u00f3venes investigadores de primer nivel en IA (Proyecto de apoyo a las becas AI Star)\u201d, organizado por el Ministerio de Ciencia y TIC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"SE-65968c92-cb67-4c73-b1eb-c99fd48757a8\">Este equipo se instal\u00f3 con \u00e9xito en marzo de este a\u00f1o tras someterse a procesos de revisi\u00f3n por parte del Centro Nacional de Instalaciones y Equipos de Investigaci\u00f3n (NFEC) y el Instituto de Planificaci\u00f3n y Evaluaci\u00f3n de Tecnolog\u00eda de la Informaci\u00f3n y las Comunicaciones (IITP). En particular, el servidor introducido est\u00e1 configurado con la especificaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s alta \u201cNVIDIA HGX H200 (141 GB)\u201d. Cuenta con un rendimiento computacional innovador hasta 3,17 veces m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que el A100 existente. El \u201cAI Star Fellowship\u201d, organizado por el Ministerio de Ciencia y TIC, es un proyecto nacional de cultivo de talentos que descubre j\u00f3venes investigadores de primer nivel en el campo de la IA con competitividad global. Adem\u00e1s, apoya la infraestructura de pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n. Este proyecto (Nombre del Proyecto: AIRBAK) promovido por el consorcio KAIST tiene como objetivo final el desarrollo de modelos de inferencia de IA capaces de expandir sistemas de conocimiento. Tambi\u00e9n tiene la intenci\u00f3n de aplicarlos al campo biom\u00e9dico. La infraestructura de GPU, reforzada al m\u00e1s alto nivel, est\u00e1 generando grandes expectativas por brindar un entorno \u00f3ptimo. Este es un entorno en el que los j\u00f3venes investigadores pueden sumergirse en la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"SE-383b357a-a720-4da4-8adf-094401527288\" style=\"margin-top:50px\">Asistencia de partes interesadas clave de ambas instituciones y compromiso para liderar la tecnolog\u00eda de convergencia m\u00e9dica orientada al futuro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"SE-0b55383e-cea0-4c67-a38b-45c79b531cec\">En el acto, acudieron numerosas figuras clave de ambas instituciones para honrar la ocasi\u00f3n, entre ellas el profesor Yejong Chul, el profesor Ju Jae-gul y el profesor asociado Park Chan-young, de KAIST, junto con el director general de DRGEM, Park Jung-byung; el vicepresidente ejecutivo Kim Jong-sung (director del Centro de I+D); y el ingeniero principal Jang Woo-jin (jefe del equipo de desarrollo de tecnolog\u00eda de imagen de la divisi\u00f3n comercial IMS).
