On June 20, DRGEM hosted a factory tour for Professors Youlhun Seoung and Seonghwan Kim, along with 22 students from the Department of Radiological Science at Cheongju University. The visit took place at DRGEM’s manufacturing facility in Gimcheon, which is recognized as the world’s largest dedicated production site for diagnostic X-ray systems.
The tour offered students a unique opportunity to observe DRGEM’s end-to-end production process from system design and component assembly to quality assurance and product development. Students and faculty members praised the facility’s modern and well-structured layout, as well as DRGEM’s capability to swiftly reflect clinical needs through in-house development and manufacturing.
During the visit, students showed keen interest in the technical aspects of DRGEM’s solutions and actively engaged with on-site staff. In particular, many students expressed enthusiasm about the company’s recruitment process and career opportunities, leading to lively discussions on real-world job roles and the future of medical imaging technology.
