Executive Members of the Korean Radiological Technologists Association Visit DRGEM’s Gimcheon Factory

On November 13, the executive members of the Korean Radiological Technologists Association (KRTA) visited the Gimcheon factory of DRGEM, a leading X-ray manufacturing company. This visit followed the 60th KRTA Anniversary International Congress held on November 8 and was arranged to provide an opportunity to observe the current status of Korea’s medical imaging industry and explore the latest X-ray system production processes firsthand.

DRGEM’s Gimcheon factory has an annual production capacity of 12,000 X-ray systems and holds a strong market position in the high-power generator segment of 32 kW and above. The delegation toured the production lines, where they observed advanced automation facilities and strict quality control processes, expressing strong interest in DRGEM’s technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities.

At the 60th Anniversary Congress, DRGEM’s next-generation X-ray solution, RAYMO, was unveiled, and the company was also awarded a plaque of appreciation for its contributions to industry advancement.

DRGEM President J.B. Park stated, “This visit was a meaningful opportunity to introduce our technical and manufacturing capabilities directly to the executive members representing the radiological technologist profession in Korea. DRGEM will continue to develop innovative X-ray solutions that help improve diagnostic environments and enhance patient safety.”

The visit served as a valuable occasion for the KRTA executive members to experience DRGEM’s manufacturing competitiveness and global technological capabilities, while discussing future directions for the development of Korea’s medical imaging industry.
