DRGEM, a global manufacturer specializing in X-ray systems, announced on the 19th that its mobile X-ray systems TOPAZ and PROMO, along with its X-ray power supply unit (generator), have been promoted and selected as “Current World-Class Products” this year.
This recognition reflects a comprehensive evaluation of technology, quality, and global competitiveness, reaffirming international acknowledgment of DRGEM’s excellence in medical imaging capabilities and manufacturing expertise. The “Current World-Class Product” designation is given only to products that rank within the top five in global market share with at least a 5 percent share, and that satisfy one of the following strict criteria: a global market size of over 50 million USD (and more than twice the domestic market), or annual exports exceeding 5 million USD. It is regarded as a significant achievement demonstrating the global competitiveness of Korea’s medical device industry.
The selected products include DRGEM’s mobile X-ray systems TOPAZ and PROMO, as well as its X-ray generator. These products have become core export items for DRGEM, backed by proven performance and reliability in the global market.

- TOPAZ: Motorized Mobile X-ray System
A motor-driven mobile X-ray system offering smooth maneuverability, designed to support precise positioning and stable imaging in various environments such as narrow hospital hallways and intensive care units.
- PROMO: Manual Mobile X-ray System
A manual mobile system equipped with flexible positioning capabilities and a rotating column, optimized for efficient bedside imaging, especially in emergency situations.
- X-ray Generator
DRGEM’s core power supply unit ensures precise power control and stability for high-quality imaging. It features automatic calibration and consistent output performance.

DRGEM has an annual production capacity of 12,000 X-ray systems and maintains a strong market position, particularly in high-power systems of 32 kW and above. This recognition is expected to further strengthen global confidence in DRGEM’s technology and accelerate innovation across medical imaging environments.
