On August 21 (Thu), more than 20 members of the Korean Association of Professor in Radiologic Science (KAPRS) visited DRGEM’s Gimcheon factory. The visit offered radiology experts the opportunity to see the X-ray manufacturing process firsthand and gain insights into the future of advanced medical imaging.
The professors remarked, “We sincerely thank DRGEM for providing such a meaningful opportunity to visit the Gimcheon factory. Witnessing the meticulous manufacturing process and the advanced technologies driving leadership in the global market was truly impressive. In particular, seeing how research and production are seamlessly connected to create innovation was very inspiring for our own educational and research activities.” The event also included active Q&A sessions and discussions, fostering valuable exchanges between academic perspectives and industrial practices.
During the visit, strong interest was shown in mobile X-ray systems and AI-powered diagnostic solutions combined with existing equipment, reflecting key areas of focus for the future of radiology.
