Introduction to DRGEM’s Technological Innovation with Masan University Students
On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, students from the Department of radiology at Masan University joined a special one-day trip program. They explored DRGEM’s global, advanced manufacturing infrastructure. The students attended their first session to deeply understand DRGEM’s unique technological capabilities and brand value. These capabilities are actively displayed in medical fields worldwide. A Live Tour of the Manufacturing Infrastructure Demonstrating Global Quality Standards
Following the session, the students went on a factory tour. This tour allowed them to visually verify DRGEM’s strict quality control system and highly sophisticated production processes. First, on the 1st floor, the students observed the ‘Materials Team Warehouse’ and the ‘Incoming Inspection Room’. These areas serve as the starting points of a perfect product. They then toured the ‘Finished Product Shipping Area’. Here, completed systems wait prior to being exported to the global market. Moving to the 2nd-floor production line, they live-witnessed the entire assembly and testing process of DRGEM’s core lineup. This started from the production and inspection of the ‘GXR Generator’—the heart of diagnostic X-ray systems. They also saw ‘Mobile X-ray systems’, ‘Tube Stands’, ‘Ceilings’, ‘DR Systems’, and space-maximizing ‘Compact Systems’. Immediately after the tour, DRGEM provided a lunch. This offered a relaxed communication time to freely share the technical inspiration felt on-site.
Moving Beyond Theory into the Field: A Moment of Communication Broadening Practical Insights
DRGEM designed this one-day trip to enhance major comprehension and provide practical insights into the industry. It shared a live equipment manufacturing site with students. Previously, their education focused primarily on classroom theory. During the afternoon exhibition studio experience, Masan University students closely examined the overall processes. These included equipment assembly, inspection, and quality control. The students showed high interest in DRGEM’s state-of-the-art Mobile and DR systems. They had previously encountered these technologies only in textbooks. In the subsequent Q&A session held in the main conference room, questions poured in from the students. They asked about the practical capabilities required of radiographers in the actual medical field. They also inquired about the latest technological trends in global medical equipment. This established a valuable time to gain practical insights through vivid Q&A with on-site experts.
