Hands-on experience builds practical skills and industry understanding
DRGEM, a global leader in X-ray systems, recently welcomed students from Ansan University’s Department of Radiological Science to its Gimcheon factory for an on-site training program held on July 11. The visit aimed to provide students with firsthand exposure to X-ray system production and real-world applications.

Two faculty members, Professor Kang Sung-jin and Professor Kim Sung-hwan, joined 43 students on the visit. The group toured DRGEM’s automated production lines and quality assurance systems, gaining insight into the manufacturing process and clinical use of radiography equipment.

Students shared that seeing the systems they had studied in class come to life was both inspiring and motivating for their future careers.

The company holds more than 30% market share in the domestic hospital sector and is steadily expanding its global presence through quality-driven innovation. DRGEM remains committed to industry-academia collaboration, offering hands-on educational programs that empower future radiologic technologists and strengthen professional capacity in the imaging industry.
