The annual award ceremony honors outstanding companies that have significantly contributed to regional economic development, bolstered corporate morale, and invigorated investment within the Gyeongsangbuk-do province. Following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with Gimcheon City in 2021, DRGEM invested approximately KRW 24.9 billion to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility within the Gimcheon General Industrial Complex. The facility boasts a high-efficiency production system with an annual capacity exceeding 10,000 units, serving as a critical hub for meeting the surging global demand for diagnostic X-ray systems. Currently, the plant employs over 110 professionals, contributing directly to local job creation and the development of a specialized medical device cluster in the region, underscoring the significance of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Investment Attraction Awards in recognizing such achievements.
